End of Term arrangements

Dear Parent/Carer,

Wednesday 17th July 2024 is the last day of the summer term.  On this day, pupils will be finishing at 12.30 pm instead of the usual 3.00 pm as publicised on our school website. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide supervision of pupils past this time.

When pupils return at the start of the new academic year, Breakfast Club will start at 8 am rather than 7.45 am. 

From September pupils will no longer be able to use headphones other than for prescribed medical reasons. Any headphones that are seen in use will be confiscated by the teacher and can be collected by the pupil at the end of the day. This is in addition to pupils’ access to mobile phones being limited to social times and areas only. Articles linked to hearing loss due to prolonged used of headphones are at the bottom of this letter.

I would finally like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and I wish you an enjoyable summer. Also, to let you know that the new academic year will commence as follows: 
Tuesday 3rd September – Year 7 induction with parents invited to either a morning or afternoon session. 
Wednesday 4th September – Year 7 induction following their normal school timetable. Start of term for year 11.
Thursday 5th September – Start of term for years 8-10.
