Following a recent visit from Ofsted inspectors have again reported that “the school is taking effective action towards the removal of special measures”.
Importantly, inspectors have noted that outcomes for students this
summer are expected to be significantly higher than in recent years. The
report explains how teaching continues to improve which is helping us to raise standards. Inspectors have also commented on the good behaviour of
pupils in lessons and around school.
Reporting on the leadership of the school, Ofsted stated that “the school’s improvement strategy, driven by the executive head of school, a capable leadership team and underpinned by the vision and systems of the
Community Academies Trust, is bearing fruit”.
We are encouraged by this report but remain committed to securing further improvements to ensure the very best outcomes for all of our students.
We would also like to thank parents and carers for your ongoing support which has enabled us to secure such rapid and significant improvements.
The full report is now available to on the Ofsted and The Telford Langley websites.
