As a school we are committed to supporting your child’s learning both when in school and when working from home. Can I please take this opportunity to outline how we intend to support students who are isolating, when working from home including details of new Microsoft Teams Clinics’ that will be running each day.
Pupils will be invited separately to each of the Live Video Sessions and we would expect them to attend all of the sessions listed on the rotas below.
1. You have already received a letter regarding Remote Learning – this explains how to access the home learning resources for all subjects.
2. In the links below you will find a guide to Microsoft Teams which will be used to run the ‘clinics’ each day and a timetable of the different clinics that are taking place. The clinics will provide additional support for pupils in working through the home learning resources if required. If they access Microsoft Teams at the times on the ‘clinic rota’ a subject specialist teacher will be available to answer any questions and provide support as needed.
Please remember these clinics are available through either a computer or mobile device.
3. If you have any issues regarding home learning can I please encourage you to email the school using the home learning email address rather than contacting the school in the first instance email@example.com
4. Finally we understand that not all pupils have access to a laptop at home to access the Remote Learning resources and printed copies of the resources have been provided to all parents that completed the paper resources request sheet previously. If you do require a copy of printed resources please email the 'Paper Resource Request Form' (see below link) to firstname.lastname@example.org
Going forward we hope to continue to develop our use of Microsoft Teams and I will keep you informed of this in due course.
