Full School Reopening from the 8th March

Dear Parents and Carers,

Further to my previous communication I am pleased to be sharing the schedule for the phased return of all students, from Monday 8th March onwards. Please note that our remote learning provision will remain in place for all students until their return to school.

Our registered key worker children and vulnerable students should continue to attend school, in line with current arrangements and they will then transition to their usual timetable with rest of their returning year group.

In accordance with the most recent government guidance, we will offer COVID-19 testing for the students on their return to school, offering 3 tests in total, 3 to 5 days apart. The key worker children and vulnerable students currently in school will be offered the first of their LFD test during the week beginning Monday 1st March. Following the third test in school, families will be supplied with LFD test kits to facilitate self-testing, twice a week at home.

This is an asymptomatic testing programme, designed for people who do not have any COVID 19 symptoms. If your child is showing symptoms, you must follow the self-isolation and testing guidance.

If you have not already given consent for your child to be tested please do so by following this link:

The tests are not compulsory; however, we strongly urge you to consent to help protect your child, your family, and our school community.

Students’ start times depend on the tutor group. Please take note of the times and dates below, so that your child arrives on the correct day and at the right time. A text message will be sent to you nearer their return date as a reminder. All students, regardless of whether consent has been given for a test, should arrive as close to their allotted time as possible at the allocated gate shown in the table. Both gates are clearly signed, but Gate F is the back gate between the tennis courts and the sports Hall and Gate E is a little further up the road towards the main entrance of the school. Staff will be on duty to guide students. Please be reassured that no student will be tested without consent.

The dates and times that students will return to school are as follows:
